A bit about my work, interests, and life away from the keyboard.
Hi, I’m Michael.
I’m a software developer from Seattle, and a tech nerd at heart. I spend much of my free time writing software for myself in Go and Node.js, and learning other languages, including C and C++.
I’m drawn to applied security and cryptography, and to the ways we can maintain privacy and anonymity online. I enjoy understanding how things work, then putting that understanding into practice.
Away from the keyboard
I’m a former Taekwondo sport competitor. Over 14 years of training at two dojangs, I competed in tournaments ranging from local to national and earned my 4th Dan (4th Degree Black Belt), recognized by Kukkiwon.
The lasting friendships I made through training and competition are as meaningful to me as the milestones.
